New Delhi: Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing), Coal India, chaired a review meeting at Coal India subsidiary Central Mine Planning and Design Institute in Ranchi. During his visit, he reviewed the coal import substitution policy, coal e-auction platform, e-auction performance, and related issues. New Delhi: After the successful trial operation of Ib Valley Lakhanpur Washery (10.0 Mty), MCL in November 2023, the Performance Guarantee Test (PGT) of the washery was started by CMPDI on 18.12.2023. This has been an initiative to promote domestic coal beneficiation on non-coking coal thereby maximizing the yield of high-quality coal. New Delhi: CMPDI signed an MoA with Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra, Hazaribag on 08.12.2023 to provide a "Mobile Eye Care Van" equipped with all necessary eye health equipment to NBJK for facilitating comprehensive primary eye care services primarily in remote villages of Ranchi, Ramgarh and Hazaribag district of Jharkhand and striving towards making Jharkhand free of preventable blindness.
