The Council of State Industrial Development and Investment Corporations of India (COSIDICI), established in 1976, is a national federation that plays a pivotal role in the promotion, development, and financing of industries across India. It comprises State Financial Corporations (SFCs), State Industrial Development Corporations (SIDCs), and State Infrastructure Development Corporations.

COSIDICI acts as a catalyst for industrial development by providing a range of services, including the availability of loans on favorable terms, allotment of industrial plots or sheds, and technical assistance for project report preparation. It also disseminates information on special incentives provided by state governments for setting up industries.

The council has established effective liaisons with various departments of state and central governments, as well as with all-India financial institutions like RBI, IDBI, and SIDBI. It actively participates in activities organized by prominent industry bodies such as CII, FICCI, and SCOPE.

Overall, COSIDICI’s mission is to support and enhance the industrial landscape of India by providing comprehensive financial and infrastructural solutions.
