The announcement includes the appointment of Dr. Venkata Rama Srinivas Gutta as Chief Digital Officer (CDO), effective January 22, 2026. Dr. Gutta is a recognized leader in digital innovation, with nearly three decades of global experience across strategy, venture creation, and digital proposition development. His prior tenure at Philips includes pioneering breakthroughs in video surveillance, biometrics, and ambient lighting, notably the award-winning AmbiLight TV, and leading strategic transformation initiatives for over 60,000 employees.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University, USA, and a B.E. from NIE Mysore, with specialisation in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. His prolific work includes over 50 publications and more than 150 US patents, highlighting his expertise in digital transformation and innovation.
Simultaneously, Dr. Arivarasu Selvaraj has ceased to hold the position of Chief Digital Officer due to organizational restructuring, effective the same date.
