Airtel Expands 5G Coverage in MP & Chhattisgarh with 2,400+ New Sites
Mumbai: Telecom giant Bharti Airtel announced a major network expansion in Central India, deploying over 2,400 new 5G sites across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the last 12 months.
The expansion, covering 87 districts, now brings high-speed, reliable 5G coverage to approximately 36 million customers across cities, towns, and remote villages in the two states.
Key Details of the Expansion:

Scale: Over 2,400 new sites, equivalent to launching six new sites every day.

Coverage: Enhanced footprint across key districts including Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, and Durg, among others.

Focus: Significant investment to strengthen network density in rural pockets, highways, and economic corridors to bridge connectivity gaps.
