Bharti Airtel Limited has unveiled Priority Postpaid, a new service designed to deliver a superior and more consistent mobile experience using advanced 5G slicing technology.

The launch marks the first deployment of 5G network slicing for consumers in India, reinforcing Airtel’s focus on customer-centric innovation and network leadership.

 

What is Airtel Priority Postpaid?

Priority Postpaid is built for customers who rely on uninterrupted connectivity for work, entertainment, and daily digital activities. Airtel has upgraded its 5G network to intelligently segment capacity, ensuring stable performance even during peak usage.

First 5G Network Slicing Launch in India

5G slicing allows telecom operators to create dedicated network capacity lanes for specific users or services. The technology has already been deployed in countries such as the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia.

  • ₹699 plan: Includes Amazon Prime & JioHotstar

  • ₹999 plan: Adds Apple TV+ & Apple Music

  • ₹1749 plan: Adds Netflix

The service is available on all Airtel postpaid plans and works on 5G SA-enabled smartphones with the latest software updates.

 

 

Easy Upgrade for Customers

Existing postpaid customers will automatically receive the Priority service. Prepaid users can switch via the Airtel App or by visiting Airtel retail stores.
