Brahmaputra Infrastructure Wins Rs 169 Cr NHAI Project Despite Stock Dip
Brahmaputra Infrastructure has won a Rs 169 crore NHAI contract for NH-6 four-laning in Assam and Meghalaya. Despite strong Q1 FY26 earnings shares closed 2.08 percent lower at Rs 86.01.

Brahmaputra Infra Bags ₹169-Cr NHAI Deal
NEW DELHI: Brahmaputra Infrastructure has secured a significant project from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) valued at ₹169.45 crore.
The contract involves four-laning the Jorabat, Shillong (Barapani) section of NH-40, which is now designated NH-6. The project covers parts of Assam and Meghalaya and must be completed within 12 months on an item rate basis.

The diversified infrastructure firm, which builds everything from airports and bridges to highways, recently reported strong financial results:
Q1 FY26 Net Profit soared by 121.82% to ₹15.04 crore, up from ₹6.78 crore in the same quarter last year.
Total Income for the quarter ending June 30, 2025, rose 16.07% year-on-year to ₹92.14 crore.
Despite the positive orders and strong earnings, shares of Brahmaputra Infrastructure dropped by 2.08%, closing at ₹86.01 on Friday, September 26, 2025.
