DFCCIL Reviews Progress on JNPT–Vaitarna Section of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor

Mumbai, March 18, 2026 – Sh. Praveen Kumar, MD of DFCCIL, chaired a review meeting with Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. to assess the progress of the JNPT–Vaitarna section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).

The meeting was attended by Sh. Anurag Sharma, Director/Infra, and other senior officials of DFCCIL, including Sh. Ran Vijay Singh, GGM/Electrical. Discussions centered on project progress, implementation challenges, and strategies to ensure timely completion, aligning with the overall development goals of the WDFC.

The review reaffirmed DFCCIL’s commitment to efficient and on-schedule execution of critical freight infrastructure projects, which play a key role in enhancing logistics efficiency and supporting India’s trade and industrial growth.
