GMR Airports Ltd shares rose 1.66% to Rs 91.37 after commencing duty-free operations at IGI Airport, Delhi, following a license agreement signed in August 2024.

Shares of GMR Airports Ltd are surged over by 1.66% at Rs 91.37 as the infrastructure organization has announced that it had commenced the official operations of the duty-free business at IGI Airport, Delhi amid signing a Licence agreement in August 2024.

 

The exchange filing stated that GMR Airports Limited had emerged as the Selected Bidder to develop, operate, manage and maintain the Duty-Free Operations at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi (Delhi Duty Free Concession) and accordingly had entered into a License Agreement on August 21, 2024 towards the said Duty Free Concession, to take up the operations effective July 28, 2025.

Accordingly, this to inform that the Company has started the operations of the duty-free business at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi from 00:00 hours of July 28, 2025.
