HCL Technologies Releases USD 252 Million Guarantee After Full Repayment by HCL America
New Delhi, March 19, 2026: HCL Technologies Limited (BSE: 532281, NSE: HCLTECH) announced that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, HCL America Inc., has fully repaid the remaining USD 252.207 million of its 1.375% senior unsecured notes originally issued in March 2021.
Earlier, in February 2023, HCL America Inc. had bought back and cancelled USD 247.793 million of the notes, leaving the balance that has now been repaid in full. The notes carried an unconditional and irrevocable guarantee from HCL Technologies. With no outstanding notes remaining, the guarantee has been released by the Trustee of the notes.
Manish Anand, Company Secretary of HCL Technologies, stated, “The full repayment reflects HCL America Inc.’s strong financial position and our commitment to prudent financial management. The release of the guarantee is an important milestone in our corporate governance and debt management strategy.”
