HDFC AMC Announces Key Changes in Senior Management
Mumbai, March 6, 2026: HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC) has announced changes in its senior management, marking a strategic reshuffle in the company’s Fixed Income division. The decisions were approved by the Board of Directors today, based on recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Key Changes

Mr. Shobhit Mehrotra, who has been associated with HDFC AMC since February 2004, will cease to be Head – Fixed Income from March 7, 2026, upon reaching superannuation age as per company policy.

Mr. Mehrotra will assume a new role as Head – New Initiatives – Fixed Income starting March 16, 2026, where his expertise in credit analysis and fixed income strategies will continue to benefit the company.

Mr. Anil Bamboli, currently serving as Senior Fund Manager – Fixed Income, has been appointed as Head – Fixed Income with effect from March 7, 2026.
Both executives will report directly to Mr. Navneet Munot, Managing Director & CEO, and remain part of HDFC AMC’s Senior Management team in accordance with SEBI regulations.
