HDFC AMC Grants 58,700 Shares Under ESOP & PSU Scheme 2026
Mumbai, January 14, 2026: HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC) has approved a fresh grant of employee stock incentives under its newly introduced Employees Stock Options and Performance-linked Stock Units Scheme – 2025, reinforcing the company’s commitment to employee ownership and long-term value creation.
At its meeting held on January 14, 2026, the company’s Nomination & Remuneration Committee (NRC) approved the grant of 41,250 stock options and 17,450 performance-linked stock units (PSUs) — representing 58,700 equity shares of face value ₹5 each.
Pricing and Valuation Details
The stock options have been issued at a grant price of ₹2,485.70 per option, based on the latest available closing price of HDFC AMC shares on the National Stock Exchange on January 13, 2026. The performance-linked stock units have been issued at ₹5 per PSU, equivalent to the face value of the company’s equity shares.
Based on the grant price, the total incentive value of the stock options alone is estimated at over ₹10.25 crore, underlining the company’s focus on attracting and retaining high-performing talent.
Vesting Schedule Over Four Years
The options and PSUs will vest over a period of four years, subject to fulfillment of conditions under the scheme:
For Stock Options:

40% on 4th anniversary
For PSUs:

Employees will have four years from the respective vesting date to exercise stock options and one year to exercise vested PSUs.
Strengthening Long-Term Performance Culture
The scheme, approved by shareholders in June 2025, is aligned with SEBI (Share Based Employee Benefits and Sweat Equity) Regulations, 2021 and is designed to strengthen employee engagement, align management interests with shareholders, and support sustainable growth.
Industry experts view the move as a strategic step by HDFC AMC to enhance retention in a competitive asset management industry.
