New Delhi: Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has launched a postal ballot process to seek shareholder approval for the appointment of two key board members. The postal ballot notice, dispatched electronically on December 4, 2025, requests members to vote on the appointment of Mr. Niranjan Gupta as Whole-time Director and Mr. Bobby Parikh as an Independent Director.

According to the company’s filings with BSE and NSE, shareholders will cast their votes through an e-voting platform managed by KFin Technologies. Voting begins on December 8, 2025, and closes on January 6, 2026.

 

HUL stated that Mr. Niranjan Gupta is proposed to be appointed for a five-year term from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2030, while Mr. Bobby Parikh is proposed as an Independent Director for a term from December 1, 2025 to November 30, 2030.

The results of the postal ballot will be announced on or before January 8, 2026, and will be available on the company website and the stock exchanges.
