Mumbai, March 5, 2026: Jio Financial Services Limited has invested ₹147.45 crore in its joint venture Allianz Jio Reinsurance Limited (AJRL) by subscribing to 14.74 crore equity shares at a face value of ₹10 each. The investment was made on Thursday through a cash subscription at par value.

According to a regulatory filing submitted to the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, the newly issued shares were allotted to the company to support the reinsurance venture’s operational and business expansion plans.

With this transaction, the total investment by Jio Financial Services in AJRL has reached ₹150 crore. The funds will be used by the joint venture to strengthen its business operations and expand its presence in the reinsurance segment.

The company clarified that the transaction qualifies as a related party transaction, but it has been executed on an arm’s length basis. It also confirmed that none of the promoter groups or other related entities have any direct interest in the investment.

Jio Financial Services further noted that no regulatory or government approval was required for this investment. The transaction was completed at approximately 2:13 PM on March 5, 2026.

The move reflects the company’s continued focus on building capabilities in the financial services and insurance ecosystem through strategic partnerships.
