JSW Steel Reports 24.39 Lakh Tonnes Crude Steel Production in November 2025

JSW Steel reported 24.39 lakh tonnes of crude steel production in November 2025, a 5% increase year-on-year. Capacity utilisation stood at 84% due to the Vijayanagar furnace upgrade. The company continues to expand capacity and strengthen sustainability commitments.

New Delhi: December 9, 2025 JSW Steel Limited announced that it produced 24.39 lakh tonnes of crude steel in November 2025 on a consolidated basis. This is 5% higher compared to November 2024.

The company said that its India operations worked at 84% capacity in November. This was lower because Blast Furnace 3 at the Vijayanagar plant has been shut down since the end of September 2025 for an upgrade. The furnace capacity is being increased from 3 MTPA to 4.5 MTPA.
If this furnace is not included, the capacity use was around 93%.
