L&T Vyoma to Invest ₹25,000 Cr for Green AI-Ready Hyperscale Data Center at Dholera, Gujarat
Mumbai / Gujarat, February 2026: Gujarat is taking a major step forward in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. During the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with L&T Vyoma to explore the establishment of a 250 MW Green AI-ready Hyperscale Data Center Campus at the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR).
The proposed project, with an investment of ₹25,000 crore, aims to strengthen Gujarat’s position as a leading destination for AI, cloud computing, and sustainable digital infrastructure in India.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghavi, at the summit, highlighted the significance of the initiative, saying:
"Gujarat takes a giant leap in AI infrastructure." His statement underlined the government’s commitment to building state-of-the-art digital ecosystems that integrate sustainability and technology-led growth.
