Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) Awards ₹72.51 Crore Power Cable Order to Diamond Power Infrastructure
New Delhi: Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL), also known as DIACABS, announced that it has secured a major order worth ₹72.51 crore from Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) for the supply of power cables. The order was awarded under a “kilometre rate basis with PV formula” pricing structure, which allows for price revisions based on raw material fluctuations, providing the company protection during execution.
The contract, valid from January 6, 2026, to September 30, 2026, is a domestic, non-related party transaction, awarded purely on a commercial arm’s length basis. None of DPIL’s promoters or group companies have any stake in L&T, ensuring transparency and compliance with SEBI regulations.
Share Price Reaction
Following the announcement, Diamond Power Infrastructure shares rose 2.55%, trading at ₹140.50 on NSE as of 1:42 pm IST, up ₹3.49 from the opening price of ₹137.85. The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹7,400 crore with a P/E ratio of 119.60. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹183.50 and a 52-week low of ₹81.50, reflecting strong investor interest in strategic orders like this.
