Reliance Industries Limited has announced the successful merger of its subsidiary Star Television Productions Limited (STPL) with another subsidiary, Jiostar India Private Limited. The merger became effective on November 30, 2025, according to a notification received from Jiostar on the same day.

This development follows a previously disclosed scheme of arrangement shared by the company on November 14, 2024, outlining the merger plan between the two subsidiaries. Post-merger, STPL has ceased to exist as a separate legal entity and its operations and assets now form part of Jiostar India Private Limited.

The disclosure was submitted by Savithri Parekh, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, to both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Copies of the disclosure were also sent to the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange Limited.

The merger aims to streamline Reliance Industries’ media and entertainment operations under a single subsidiary, improving operational efficiency and consolidating resources within the company’s television production vertical.
