SPML Infra Limited saw its stock rise after announcing that its Joint Venture (JV) with Shree Hari Infraprojects secured a significant contract worth ₹207.38 crore from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
The contract is part of the Indian government's ambitious Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and relates to the Nonera Water Supply Project.
Project Scope and Impact
The project is specifically aimed at strengthening the water supply network across the Kota and Bundi regions of Rajasthan.

Contract Duration: The scope includes full execution, testing, and commissioning of the works, along with 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M).
- Target Beneficiaries: Upon completion, the project is expected to provide functional household tap connections and clean drinking water to over 1.03 million people.
Execution Details (Package-1)
Under Package-1 of the contract, the JV will execute key infrastructure components:
- Intake and Treatment: Construction of three intake wells and three Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) with a combined capacity of 118 MLD (Million Litres per Day).
- Storage and Distribution: Building three clear water reservoirs with a total capacity of 16.1 million liters and laying 52.6 km of pipelines (600 mm to 1300 mm diameter).

Technology: The entire system will be supported by modern PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for automation and monitoring.
Financial Snapshot
SPML Infra, which specializes in infrastructure development, reported solid financial performance recently: its consolidated net profit rose 15.3% to ₹15.04 crore on a 0.4% decrease in net sales to ₹187.76 crore in Q2 FY26 compared to Q2 FY25.
