New Delhi, September 23, 2025: Sugs Lloyd Limited, a diversified EPC Power Company, has secured a significant turnkey contract valued at Rs 85.45 lakh from Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited (DGVCL), a leading power distribution utility in Gujarat. The project involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of advanced Fault Passage Indicators (FPIs) to modernize DGVCL's distribution network.

This contract underlines Sugs Lloyd's strategic expansion in Gujarat, a key growth market for India's power infrastructure. The project focuses on enhancing grid resilience for DGVCL by deploying state-of-the-art FPIs across its 7 KV to 13 KV overhead lines. This technology is critical for reducing outage times and improving operational efficiency, aligning with national priorities for a more reliable power grid.

The project will be executed on a turnkey basis, with completion scheduled within two months following mobilization. The deployment involves installing FPIs at strategic intervals, enabling real-time fault detection and location. This directly addresses utility pain points by minimizing revenue losses from prolonged outages and boosting consumer satisfaction.
