TCS secures contract with INEOS for Project ONE
Across contracts, the TCS project consists of several thousand tons of structural steel, built with precision, designed to integrate into a highly complex international project flow.

TCS secured its contract in delivering steel structures for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) — a crucial component in INEOS’s environmental management approach. Our involvement primarily focuses on pipe racks — vital steel frameworks that allow pipelines, cables, and equipment to be routed at height, safely and accessibly. While these structures may seem secondary, they are essential for enabling the site’s entire production logic. Without them, processes can’t run, and operators can’t reach where they need to be. INEOS Project ONE: Building Europe’s Chemical Future
In the heart of Europe’s chemical industry, a bold project is reshaping the landscape — literally and strategically. With an investment of over €4 billion, INEOS Project ONE is not only the largest chemical investment in Western Europe in decades, but also one of the most ambitious industrial builds on the continent. The flagship of the project is a next-generation ethane cracker in the Port of Antwerp, designed to produce ethylene — a fundamental raw material in the chemical sector — with the lowest carbon footprint of any similar facility in Europe.
Project ONE is not just a construction site. It is a forward-looking response to the sector’s growing need for cleaner, more efficient production. INEOS is building for the long term — and surrounding itself with engineering and construction partners who can match its pace, ambition, and technical complexity.

“INEOS selected TCS not just for capacity, but for the reliability, flexibility, and technical insight they bring to the table,” says Harry Denne, Project Manager Utilities and WWTP of INEOS. “Their team has demonstrated a proactive approach and strong coordination with our engineers, which is crucial on a project of this complexity. TCS not only delivers according to specification, but also anticipates potential challenges and proposes practical solutions — helping us keep the project on track, safely and efficiently.”

Project ONE is more than an industrial complex. It’s a symbol of Europe’s commitment to clean growth, innovation, and strategic independence in raw materials. It strengthens Antwerp’s global position as a chemical hub, while pushing the bar higher on emissions and efficiency. For TCS, being part of this story is a milestone — one that reflects not only our technical capabilities, but our values in action.
Our track record in industrial construction, particularly in steel solutions for high-tech and high-risk sectors, matched the complexity of Project ONE. We understand that delivering steel is not about weight — it’s about safety, accuracy, coordination and timing. It’s this mindset that made TCS a trusted partner in Project ONE — not just a subcontractor, but a contributor to the bigger picture.“ says Dirk Teuwen, Business Unit Manager Steelworks TCS.
