Vedanta Limited Reports Record Q3 FY26 Production Across Aluminium, Zinc, and Power
Mumbai, 3 January 2026: Vedanta Limited announced its production results for the third quarter (Q3) and nine months (9M) ended 31 December 2025, achieving record outputs across multiple business segments.
Aluminium & Alumina:

Q3 aluminium production reached 620 kt (+1% YoY), while alumina production surged to 794 kt (+57% YoY).

For 9M FY26, aluminium totaled 1,842 kt (+1% YoY) and alumina 2,034 kt (+32% YoY), driven by operational efficiency improvements and commissioning of Train II at Lanjigarh.
Zinc & Lead:

Zinc India posted record third-quarter mined metal at 276 kt (+4% YoY) and refined metal at 270 kt (+4% YoY).

Zinc International production rose 28% YoY to 59 kt, with Gamsberg throughput up 40% YoY.

Silver production reached 158 tonnes, a 10% increase QoQ.
Steel, Iron Ore & Ferro Alloys:

Quarterly steel production climbed 19% QoQ, with billets reaching a record 285 kt.

Iron ore output rose 49% QoQ, while ferro chrome production increased 32% YoY.
Power & Oil & Gas:

Power sales grew 40% YoY, supported by new Athena and Meenakshi plants.

Oil & gas production averaged 84.9 kboepd, with minor QoQ decline due to operational constraints.
