TRAI’s TCCCP regulations aim to curb spam and unsolicited commercial communication, requiring telecom operators to implement systems that filter and prevent unconsented messages or calls. Non-compliance with these provisions can lead to financial disincentives, as seen in this case.

The company has assured stakeholders that it is assessing the implications of the order on operations and is committed to compliance with all regulatory requirements.
