Wipro Allots 50,070 Equity Shares Under ESOP Plans on March 5, 2026
March 5, 2026: Wipro Limited has announced the allotment of 50,070 equity shares following the exercise of employee stock options under its ESOP schemes.
According to a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, the company allotted 11,222 equity shares under the ADS Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2004 and 38,848 equity shares under the Restricted Stock Unit Plan 2007 on March 5, 2026.
The allotment was carried out pursuant to employees exercising their stock options granted under the company’s long-term incentive plans. Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs) are widely used by companies to reward employees and align their interests with long-term shareholder value.
Wipro Limited informed both BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited about the allotment as part of regulatory compliance.
The move reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to employee ownership and performance-based incentives, allowing employees to participate in the company’s growth through equity participation.
