BHUBANESWAR: NTPC provided Rs. 10 crores to Odisha Chief Minister’s relief fund to supplement the rescue, relief, rehabilitation and re-construction of the communities and areas devastated by the recent calamity in Odisha due to cyclone ‘Phailin’. NTPC is contributing this money from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget, which provides for rehabilitation and re-construction of areas affected by any natural calamity. NTPC senior officials has handed over the cheque to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relif Fund. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has praised the concern expressed by NTPC employees and their contribution towards this worthy cause. – Orissa Diary
