DMRC Academy Conducts Specialized Training Program for L&T Engineers
DMRC Academy conducts a four-week specialized training program for L&T engineers covering CBTC, cyber security, metro signalling, and telecommunication systems.

New Delhi: DMRC Academy has successfully conducted a customized four-week training program for Signaling and Telecommunication design engineers from Larsen & Toubro (L&T), aimed at strengthening technical expertise in advanced metro systems.
The training program covered key topics such as Cyber Security, Passenger Information Systems, CCTV and Surveillance Systems, Radio Communication, Disaster Prevention Systems, and international metro signalling standards including IEEE and CENELEC. Advanced technologies like Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC), LTE technology, and Unattended Train Operation (UTO) were also part of the curriculum.
In addition to expert-led classroom sessions, participants received hands-on practical exposure through extensive laboratory work. The program also included field visits to Operational Control Centres (OCCs), metro depots, and major metro stations, providing real-world insights into metro operations.
The training was specifically designed to enhance the technical capabilities of engineers working in modern metro Signaling and Telecommunication systems. The initiative reflects DMRC Academy’s commitment to industry-oriented training and technical excellence, supporting the growing needs of India’s urban rail and metro infrastructure.
