Rs. 41.60 lakh provided to payjal Nigam uttarakhand for drinking water supply at Sh. Hemkund Sahib by NTPC's Tapovan Hydro Power Project, Joshimath

New Delhi: An advance amount of Rs. 41.60 lakh, out of the sanctioned Rs. 52.0 lakh, was handed over to the Drinking Water Construction Corporation, Gopeshwar, by NTPC's Tapovan Hydro Power Project, Joshimath, through a cheque for facilitating drinking water arrangements for pilgrims visiting Shri Badrinath Dham and Shri Hemkund Sahib. This was done in the esteemed presence of the District Magistrate of Chamoli, Dr. Sandeep Tiwari.
On this occasion, Executive Director and Project Head of NTPC Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro Power Project, Mr. Praveen Anantrao Pandey, expressed hope that this support amount would definitely benefit the pilgrims visiting Shri Badrinath Dham and Shri Hemkund Sahib.

Also present at the event were Additional District Magistrate of Chamoli, Mr. Vivek Prakash; District Disaster Management Officer, Mr. Nandkishore Joshi; along with NTPC's Mr. Rajesh Boipai, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), and Mr. D.S. Garbyal, Deputy General Manager of the R&R Department.
