The Indian Institute of Management Jammu concluded the Young Officers Development Program (Batch I) for National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited, a Government of India Navratna enterprise, with a valedictory ceremony held at the Vedanta MDP Centre, Jagti Campus. The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research. Present on the occasion were Program Directors, Dr. Manu Bansal; Dr. Vaseem Akram and Dr. Kapil Gumte.

 

The week-long programme, curated under the Executive Education and Consultancy (EE&C) vertical of IIM Jammu, was designed exclusively for NHPC to enhance managerial capabilities, leadership effectiveness, strategic thinking, and organizational perspective among young officers.

 

Twenty NHPC professionals from diverse locations across the country participated in the programme, enriching the learning environment through cross-functional and experiential engagement. Participant shared their reflections appreciating the programme’s academic rigour, hospitality, practical relevance, and immersive pedagogy. 

The valedictory ceremony culminated  with the distribution of certificates to the participants and national anthem, followed by a group photograph. The completion of the Young Officers Development Program (Batch I) reaffirms IIM Jammu’s growing role as a trusted partner in executive education for leading public sector organizations and its continued focus on developing competent and ethical leaders for India’s growth journey.
