IIT Kharagpur Signs Historic MoU for AI Education and Solar Infrastructure in Malda
West Bengal, March 16, 2026: Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support human and societal development initiatives in Malda, marking a significant collaboration between academia and public representatives.

The collaboration was facilitated by Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhary, Member of the Legislative Assembly, under the Bidhayok Elaka Unnayan Pariyojna (BEUP) development scheme.
