IIT Mandi Crowned 'University of the Year'

October 7th, 2025; Himachal Pradesh: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has achieved another milestone, being honored with two prestigious recognition at the FICCI Higher Education Excellence Awards 2025 - ‘University of the Year (Established)’ and ‘Excellence in Creating Employment & Entrepreneurship’. 

The awards were felicitated by Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, at a ceremony organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in New Delhi.

These accolades acknowledges IIT Mandi’s remarkable contribution in fostering innovation entrepreneurship, and employability through its unique eco system that bridges academic research, industry collaboration and driving meaningful change in communities.
