The Inter-Centre Hackathon Programme was launched on August 26, 2025, at Siliguri Institute of Technology under the MeitY-funded 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing Finishing School.

We recently launched the Inter-Centre Hackathon Programme as part of our 3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing Finishing School, a project funded by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, Government of India. The event was held on August 26, 2025, at the Centre of Excellence at Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT).

The inauguration was graced by Ms. Tulika Pandey, Scientist ‘G’ & Group Coordinator (HRD), MeitY, in the esteemed presence of Shri. Asit Kumar Singh, Chief Investigator of the Project, C-DAC Kolkata, Dr. Debajyoti Misra, HoD, ECE and Co-ordinator, Dr. Joydeep Dutta, Principal (In-charge), SIT along with key dignitaries from Centre for Development of Advanced Computing : C-DAC Kolkata and SIT.
It was incredible to see students from various Centres of Excellence virtually showcase their prototypes and innovative solutions. Ms. Pandey applauded their efforts and encouraged a future of multidisciplinary innovation and impactful research. This programme is a significant step toward empowering the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs in advanced manufacturing.
