New Delhi, July 24, 2026:  NTPC Limited, India's largest power generation utility and a Maharatna CPSE, has reported its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), with net profit at ₹5,342.36 crore. On a consolidated basis, net profit stood at ₹6,896.44 crore.

  • Coal Mining Business Transfer: NTPC Mining Limited (NML) acquired the remaining coal mine business effective April 1, 2026. Total purchase consideration of ₹6,339.18 crore. Balance ₹8,651.86 crore payable by NML by September 30, 2026.
