REC Q4 Results: Net profit rises 5.5% to Rs 4,236 crore, declares dividend of Rs 2.6 per share

Compared to Rs 4,272.5 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal year, net interest income (NII) increased 37.6% to Rs 5,877 crore in Q4 FY25.

In an exchange filing on Thursday, May 8, A Maharatna PSU, REC Ltd, reported a 5.47% increase in standalone net profit to Rs 4,236.2 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024–25. A year ago, the company reported a net profit of Rs 4,016.3 crore.

In the quarter that ended in March 2025, revenue from operations climbed 20.18% to Rs 15,159.44 crore from Rs 12,613.14 crore in the same period the previous year.

Compared to Rs 4,272.5 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal year, net interest income (NII) increased 37.6% to Rs 5,877 crore in Q4 FY25. The company’s interest income is increased by 20.6% from Rs 12,383.58 crore in the March quarter of FY24 to Rs 14,935 crore in the current quarter.

The company's Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.6 per share for FY25, subject to approval at the upcoming annual general meeting. This is in addition to the Rs 15.4 per share interim dividend already declared during FY25 in four tranches, making the total dividend for this year to be Rs 18 per share.
