RVNL Q4 results, net profit rises 33.2%
The final dividend 2023-24 will be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the general meeting.
The Shares of the Railway PSU Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has surged for the fifth straight session, touching nearly 4 percent after the company reported a positive set of numbers for the quarter ended March 2024.
The state-run railway company's net profit rose 33.2 percent on-year to Rs 478.6 crore, with good figures along with its revenue from operations during the quarter FY24 grew 17.4 percent YoY to Rs 6,714 crore.

EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization.
The EBITDA margin came in at 6.8 percent in the reporting quarter, up from 6.6 percent in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
RVNL's board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.11 per equity share (i.e. 21.10 percent) on the paid-up equity share capital for FY24, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM).
