New Delhi | December 13, 2025: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) achieved a strong sales performance during April–November 2025, recording 12.7 million tonnes (MT), a 14% year-on-year growth compared to 11.1 MT in the corresponding period last year. This momentum was highlighted by an outstanding November 2025, with overall sales increasing 27% and retail sales surging 69% to 0.14 MT from 0.084 MT a year earlier.
The growth was fueled by higher domestic saleable steel volumes, increased road dispatches, door deliveries from warehouses, and robust demand across all product categories. Notably, during November, SAIL was the top seller of TMT bars in the country. Retail channel sales for April–November 2025 reached 0.97 MT, a 13% increase over the previous year, supported by nationwide brand promotion initiatives.
Despite global price pressures, demand volatility, and geopolitical uncertainties, SAIL's targeted sales strategy and customer focus allowed it to sustain market leadership and deliver consistent growth across segments.
