Mumbai, March 19, 2026: ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited (BSE: 540716, NSE: ICICIGI) has acquired a 0.05% stake in HDFC Bank Limited as part of its ordinary investment activities. The acquisition was made via cash consideration totaling ₹0.39 billion on March 19, 2026.

The investment does not constitute a related party transaction. ICICI Lombard’s promoter and promoter group entities may have other investments or business arrangements with HDFC Bank at arm’s length, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. No governmental approvals were required for this acquisition.
