USA tops the list of international tourists visiting Rajasthan, followed by the UK
According to data, the United States stands at number one, followed by the UK, in terms of foreign tourist arrivals to Rajasthan.
Jaipur, 6 June 2025: Rajasthan continues to draw international travellers with its variety of attractions, ranking as a preferred destination for tourists from the United States and the United Kingdom. The state has become increasingly popular among visitors from Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
According to data, the United States stands at number one, followed by the UK, in terms of foreign tourist arrivals to Rajasthan. A large number of travellers from over ten European countries are also choosing Rajasthan as their destination.

In 2024, India recorded a total of 96,57,003 international tourist arrivals. Out of these, 20,72,407 tourists visited Rajasthan. This number highlights Rajasthan’s appeal on the global tourism map. Compared to 2023, foreign tourist arrivals to Rajasthan grew by 21.92% in 2024. Additionally, the first three months of 2025 alone have already seen 7,88,735 foreign tourist visits.
Dalip Singh Rathore, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, said that the rise in international arrivals is the result of consistent participation in key global travel marts and fairs. He mentioned Rajasthan’s presence at events like IFTM Top Resa (Paris, France), JATA Tourism Expo (Japan), World Travel Market (London, UK), FITUR (Spain), and ITB Berlin (Germany). These platforms play an important role in boosting inbound tourism for any country.

This collective presence helps build connections and generate opportunities not only for tourism but also for job creation in the state.
Talking about the trends, Rathore noted that apart from the USA and UK, many European countries have shown consistent interest in Rajasthan. Participation in international tourism fairs remains a key activity for the department to maintain and grow interest in the state as a preferred travel destination.
