Rail Land Development Authority Issues Vacancy Notice for Deputation Posts

New Delhi, 12 December 2025:
The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. 32/2025 inviting applications from eligible Indian Railways officers for deputation-based appointments.

RLDA, established through a Gazette Notification dated 31 October 2006, is responsible for generating revenue for Indian Railways by leasing vacant and surplus railway land and airspace. The organisation is known for its lean structure and provides officers with opportunities to gain experience in land management, station development, contract management, finance, valuation and marketing in a competitive environment. RLDA also offers attractive perks and allowances.

Vacant Posts

Post: Chief Project Manager
Pay Level: Level-14 (7th CPC)
Number of Posts:

• 1 post at Lucknow

• 1 post at Jaipur

Tenure:

• 3 years, extendable by 2 additional years (4th and 5th year) under normal deputation rules

Eligibility:

• Officers of IRSE in SAG/NFSAG/SG grades

• Minimum 17 years of regular Group ‘A’ service

Desirable Experience:

• Land management

• Real estate

• Contract management

Officers on deputation may receive:

• One grade higher pay for officers up to Level-13 or deputation allowance

• Retention of government accommodation

• TADK/Caretaker allowance

• Liberal lease facilities, including self-lease

• Conveyance allowance/official vehicle
