RLDA Invites Applications for Chief Project Manager Posts on Deputation

New Delhi: The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. 32/2025 inviting applications from eligible Indian Railways officers for appointment to the post of Chief Project Manager on a deputation basis.

RLDA, constituted through an Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 31 October 2006, is mandated to generate revenue through long-term leasing of vacant and surplus railway land and air space. The Authority plays a key role in land monetisation, station development, and infrastructure-led revenue generation for Indian Railways.

• Name of Post: Chief Project Manager

• Pay Scale: Level-14 (7th CPC)

• Number of Vacancies: 02

• Posting Locations: Lucknow (LKO) – 1 post; Jaipur – 1 post

• Tenure: 3 years, extendable by 2 additional years

Eligibility Criteria

The post is open to SAG/NFSAG/SG IRSE officers with a minimum of 17 years of regular Group ‘A’ service. Officers with experience in Land Management, Real Estate, Contract Management, Valuation or Marketing will be given preference.

Terms and Benefits

Appointments will be governed by normal deputation terms. Officers may be eligible for one pay level higher than the parent cadre (up to Level-13) or deputation allowance, as applicable. Additional benefits include:
