RLDA Vacancy Notice: Multiple Posts on Deputation Across India

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. 30/2025 inviting applications from eligible officers for multiple posts on a deputation basis. The mandate of RLDA is to generate revenue through long-term leasing of vacant and surplus railway land and air space.

The requirement for manpower is Pan India, and the posts and locations listed below are indicative and subject to change based on RLDA's requirements.

Overview of Vacant Posts (Deputation Basis)

The deputation tenure for most posts is 5 years (initial 3 years + 2 years extension).

1. Joint General Manager (JGM) / Deputy General Manager (DGM) (F&A)

• No. of Posts & Location: 01 at Delhi.

• Scale of Pay (7th CPC): JGM: Level-13; DGM: Level-12.

• Eligibility:

  • JGM: Analogous posts or Level-13/Level-12 Group 'A' officer of IRAS cadre or Accounts/Finance/Audit/Economics officers with 6 years Group 'A' service.

  • DGM: Analogous posts or Level-12/Level-11 Group 'A' or 'B' Gazetted officer from Accounts/Finance/Audit/Economics cadre with 6 years of service in Group 'A'/'B'.

• Desirable Experience: Fund raising, Escrow account management, Contract management, and previous experience in financial aspects of Land/Estate Management.

2. Manager (HR)

• No. of Posts & Location: 01 at Delhi.

• Scale of Pay (7th CPC): Level-11.

• Eligibility: Analogous Group 'B' Gazetted Officer in the Personnel Department of Indian Railways/RBSS Officer in a grade not lower than GP ₹4800/5400/6600 (RP).

• Desirable Experience: Working in organizations/areas connected with Land Management, Tendering, and Contract Management.

 

3. Manager / Assistant Manager (Civil)

• No. of Posts & Location: 01 at Delhi, 01 at Varanasi, 01 at Mumbai.

• Scale of Pay (7th CPC): Manager: Level-11; Assistant Manager: Level-9.

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering (for Manager).

• Eligibility:

  • Manager: Analogous post or Level-11/10/09/08 Group A/B (Gaz.) Civil Engineering Cadre officer with 5 to 10 years of experience depending on the pay level.

  • Assistant Manager: Level-7 post holder (Degree in Civil Engg. with 3 years service OR Diploma with 5 years service OR ITI with 10 years service).

4. Manager / Assistant Manager (Electrical Engineering)

• No. of Posts & Location: 01 at Mumbai.

• Scale of Pay (7th CPC): Manager: Level-11; Assistant Manager: Level-9.

• Essential Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering (for Manager).

• Eligibility:

  • Manager: Analogous post or Level-11/10/09/08 Group A/B (Gaz.) Electrical Engineering Cadre officer with 5 to 10 years of experience depending on the pay level.

  • Assistant Manager: Level-7 post holder (Degree in Electrical Engg. with 3 years service OR Diploma with 5 years service).

• Desirable Experience: MEPF work (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire) related to building construction and Tendering work.

• Final Deadline: Applications must be sent through the proper channel and must reach the RLDA office by January 7, 2026, till 17:00 hrs.
