New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has released Vacancy Notification No. 2025/RVNL/51-Civil, inviting applications for two senior positions—Additional General Manager (AGM) and Joint General Manager (JGM) (Civil). The posts are available at Secunderabad and Vijayawada under the Civil Engineering Department.
The appointments will be made on a deputation or absorption basis for a period of five years, subject to Government approval on the rule of immediate absorption. The age limit for deputation is below 56 years, while for absorption, the maximum permissible age is 57 years.
The pay offered includes parent pay plus deputation allowance for deputationists. For absorption, the IDA scales are Rs. 1,00,000–2,60,000 for AGM and Rs. 90,000–2,40,000 for JGM. Candidates with experience in construction organisations will be given preference.
Eligibility criteria include requirements for officers in analogous grades or with specified years of service in the respective CDA/IDA pay levels:

Level-13 (CDA) with 12–14 years of Group ‘A’ service, or

E6 (IDA) with four years’ service.
JGM (Civil) – Officers in

Level-12 (CDA) with 8–12 years of Group ‘A’ service, or

E5 (IDA) with four years’ service.
The cut-off date for age and eligibility will be the closing date, which is 30 days from the date of issue (11.12.2025). Applicants must submit their applications in the prescribed proforma through the proper channel, along with vigilance/DAR clearance and the previous five years’ APAR gradings.
