Fuel & Ice Cream: HPCL Partners with Amul to Launch Dairy Parlours at Petrol Pumps

New Delhi: In a major move to redefine highway and urban commuting convenience, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) North Zone has officially partnered with Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the marketers of Amul. This strategic collaboration marks the launch of Amul Dairy Parlours across select HPCL retail outlets, effectively transforming traditional fuel stations into comprehensive, one-stop customer service destinations.

The flagship initiative was recently inaugurated in the bustling corporate hub of Gurugram by senior executives from both HPCL and Amul. This rollout underscores a rapidly growing trend in India's retail landscape: leveraging high-footfall fueling stations to offer everyday consumer essentials.

One-Stop Utility Hubs for the Modern Commuter

With the rapid expansion of India’s highway infrastructure and urban traffic, consumers are increasingly valuing time-saving retail solutions. By integrating Amul’s massive product portfolio with HPCL’s extensive retail network, the partnership aims to capture the evolving needs of travelers and neighborhood residents alike.

Customers stopping to refuel their vehicles can now access a wide array of fresh daily essentials and impulse-buy treats under one roof, including:

  • Fresh Dairy Products: Milk, dahi, paneer, and butter for daily household needs.

  • Beverages: Amul Kool, milkshakes, and lassi for quick refreshment on the go.

  • Snacks & Confectionery: Quick bites, cheese spreads, and chocolates.

  • Ice Creams: A dedicated range of Amul’s highly popular ice cream flavors.

Driving Retail Excellence and Innovation

During the inauguration ceremony in Gurugram, representatives from both brands highlighted that this partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to customer-centric innovation.

For HPCL, adding value-added services like Amul Parlours helps maximize non-fuel revenue—a critical growth metric for modern oil marketing companies. For Amul, the alliance offers a ready-made, high-visibility retail network that guarantees steady foot traffic seven days a week.

As both corporate giants look to scale this initiative across the North Zone and eventually other parts of the country, the partnership is set to set a new benchmark for cross-industry retail collaborations in India. Driving home, grabbing dinner ingredients, and refueling the car just became a single, seamless stop.
