New Delhi: NIRL & OREDA Sign MoU to Accelerate Odisha’s Renewable Energy Growth
NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) and the Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) signed a significant MoU at the Global Energy Leaders’ Summit (GELS) 2025 in Puri to jointly develop solar, hybrid, rooftop and energy-storage projects across Odisha.
The MoU was exchanged by Shri Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, Additional Secretary, Department of Energy & CEO, OREDA Ltd., in the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister of Odisha, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, along with senior officials including Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS, Shri Dr Satyapriya Rath, IAS, and Dr Debi Dutta Tripathy, OFS.
This collaboration marks a strategic step toward strengthening Odisha’s renewable-energy ecosystem and accelerating the State’s clean-energy transition.
