New Delhi: ONGC has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WildWellInc on 9 December 2025, strengthening ONGC’s access to world-class global expertise in managing blow-outs and complex well-control situations.
ONGC’s Crisis Management Team (CMT) already possesses robust in-house capabilities to independently manage large onshore blow-outs. This collaboration is designed to further elevate CMT’s technical depth across both onshore and offshore domains, including challenging deep-water environments, through enhanced knowledge sharing and synergised operations with international specialists.
The MoU was signed in a virtual ceremony, where ED-Chief Drilling Services (Onshore) M. Porcia executed the agreement from Vadodara on behalf of ONGC, in the esteemed presence of Director (Technology & Field Services) Vikram Saxena, who joined the event from New Delhi.
Representatives from Wild Well Control participated virtually from Singapore and Mumbai.
