Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Power, graced the National Conference on the Use of AI & ML in the Power Distribution Sector held in New Delhi. He felicitated the top-performing teams across the DISCOM, AMISP, HASP and TSP categories, commending their innovative contributions to the sector.
The Minister highlighted the transformative role of AI/ML, smart metering, digital twins, predictive maintenance and data-driven insights in shaping a modern and efficient power distribution ecosystem.
He also launched the Central Electricity Authority’s STELLAR platform, a future-ready digital tool designed to help DISCOMs prepare long-term Resource Adequacy Plans. Shri Manohar Lal congratulated all awardees and encouraged sustained efforts toward building a smarter, more reliable and consumer-centric power sector for a Viksit Bharat.
