New Delhi, April 11, 2026: Shri Piyush Goyal, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, chaired a media interaction session with representatives from digital, electronic, and print media in New Delhi.
During the interaction, discussions were held on policy direction, ongoing reforms, and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening India’s mining sector and supporting the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat in critical minerals.
He also responded to queries from media representatives and highlighted the Government’s focus on transparency, sustainable mining practices, and enhancing domestic capacity in the mining sector.
