Avantika Singh Aulakh Appointed Managing Director (MD) of Gujarat Gas Limited

New Delhi: Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL), a Government of Gujarat undertaking and part of the GSPC Group, has appointed Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, as its Managing Director and Additional Director, with effect from 24 December 2025, the company informed stock exchanges.
The appointment was approved by the Board in accordance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, following a notification issued by the Government of Gujarat on 23 December 2025.
Smt. Aulakh, a senior IAS officer of the 2003 batch, previously served as Additional Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat. She brings more than two decades of extensive administrative and leadership experience across multiple sectors of governance and infrastructure development.
She holds a B.E. in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Her distinguished career includes serving as District Collector in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Anand, and holding key positions such as Vice Chairman & CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board, CEO of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, Managing Director of Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, and Director of Technical Education.
She has also been honoured with multiple national and state awards, including the National Award for Best Electoral Practices (2012 & 2017) and the National Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Award (2018).
Currently, she is also serving as Managing Director of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited.
The company confirmed that Smt. Aulakh is not debarred from holding directorial office and that no existing director is related to her.
