BHEL appoints Koppu Sadashiv Murthy as CMD

New Delhi: Shri Koppu Sadashiv Murthy has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), effective from November 1, 2023.

The decision was made by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by the Prime Minister. Shri Murthy brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of power generation and engineering, making him an ideal choice for this prestigious position.
