Finance Ministry Appoints NABARD CGM Manikumar Sivaramakrishnan as IFCI Deputy MD for 3-Year Term
New Delhi, February 16, 2026: The Department of Financial Services, under the Ministry of Finance, has approved the appointment of Manikumar Sivaramakrishnan as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of IFCI Limited.
According to an official order dated February 16, 2026, the Competent Authority has cleared his appointment for a tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Currently Serving as CGM at NABARD
Shri Manikumar Sivaramakrishnan (Date of Birth: March 30, 1970) is presently serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) at the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
His appointment follows ACC approval referenced under Order No. 18/21/2025-EO(ACC) dated February 12, 2026.

Strengthening Leadership at IFCI
IFCI Limited, one of India’s premier development finance institutions, plays a significant role in infrastructure financing and industrial development. The appointment of a senior banker from NABARD is expected to further strengthen IFCI’s leadership team and strategic initiatives.
The order was issued by Gopi Nath, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Financial Services.
