Indian Telecommunications Service officer Naveen Kumar appointed as Power Grid CVO
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved Kumar's appointment on February 1.
Naveen Kumar, an officer of the Indian Telecommunications Services (ITS) from the 1994 batch, has been appointed as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Power.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved Kumar's appointment on February 1.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Kumar will serve as Power Grid's CVO for an initial period of three years, effective from the date he assumes charge of the position, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
