K Narasimha Reddy assumed Executive Director Charge at NTPC's major power plant

With effect from April 30, Kariveda Narasimha Reddy has assumed the roles of Executive Director (ED) and Head of Project (HOP) at NTPC Talcher Kaniha, one of NTPC's major power plants. Reddy is a seasoned professional with more than thirty years of experience in the power industry.
He brings to his new position a proven track record of technical proficiency, operational excellence, and leadership. On September 5, 1989, Reddy started working for NTPC as an Executive Trainee in the Mechanical Maintenance Division. He has played important roles in several NTPC projects over the years, including those in Kahalgaon, Simhadri, Barh, Rihand, and Faridabad. Operations, mechanical maintenance, project management, and planning and monitoring are just a few of the many roles he has been responsible for.

Reddy, a native of Andhra Pradesh, graduated from Kakatiya University in Warangal with a degree in mechanical engineering. With a focus on rotating machinery, mills and feeders, and boiler maintenance, his primary technical expertise is in power plant operations and maintenance. Under his direction, NTPC installations have continuously benefited from increased safety, effectiveness, and dependability.
